Objectives
On successful completion of this course, attendees will be able to:

• describe the different types of resource in WebSphere
• handle configuration and maintenance of the WebSphere Application Server resources
• explain what WebSphere Application Server Enterprise adds to resource functionality
• describe Connectors, Connection Factories, Connector Framework and application integration.

Who Should Attend
Webmasters and system administrators who are going to install, configure and maintain Web-based applications on a WebSphere Application Server platform. This course is also suitable for developers who want to test thoroughly for a WebSphere Application Server roll out.
Prerequisites
Participants should have attended the course WebSphere Application Server Administration. A good working knowledge of basic administrative tasks in the administrative console of the Advanced Edition Server is required. A good understanding of the Internet platform (Mail, Web, URL, ...) as well as a basic knowledge of messaging systems is indispensable. Basic knowledge of one or more Enterprise Information Systems components (CICS, IMS ...) is an advantage.
