Winder course

The winder, in the cinematographic technique, is that apparatus used to wind the films onto the reels. This equipment essentially consists of two supports which support two pins on which the loaded reel and the empty reel are mounted. It can be operated by hand or equipped with a motor. The pallet wrapping robot is a small-sized machine that runs around the stationary pallet and, following the shape of the pallet thanks to a sensor, wraps its surface. The load wrapping operation can take place in different ways according to the type of pallet wrapper, for all however the wrapping takes place through the unwinding of a reel of stretch film around the load, which due to the heat causes it to shrink and adhere to it. The number of revolutions suitable for load stabilization depend on the type of product and the purpose of the packaging (only cover or even stabilization). The pallet wrappers can be of different types according to the production level of a company: manual, robot, semi-automatic and automatic and in the latter category we find horizontal or vertical wrappers, the latter with rotating platform, rotating arm or ring rotating. The concept of wrapping machine is connected to the question of stretch film, a plastic film (linear low density polyethylene), mainly used in the packaging of palletized units.
