Wire Rope - Wire Rope Hand Splicing

The aim of the course is to provide selected delegates with a thorough grounding of the legal requirements and safe working practices pertaining to the splicing of wire ropes. By the end of the course, they will be able to carry out the splicing skill involved safely, successfully and in accordance with accepted standards and codes of practice.

*Principles for the Selection of Tools & Equipment. Factors influencing choice, and assessing the operation.
*Preparation & Measurements. Explanations, Demonstrations, Imitations and practice.
*Splicing Methods & Procedures. Explanations, Demonstrations, Imitations and practice with ongoing assessment.

Achievement Measurement

This is a course, focusing on customers' specific requirements. Trainers employ the practical methods of instruction, explanation, demonstration, imitation and practice with ongoing assessment leading to certification on successful completion.
