The western genre, whether classic or contemporary, emphasises the lone hero, while women seem to remain in the background. With a slight change of focus, the role of women in these films comes into sharper perspective. Group discussion will reveal her potentially central and motivating role. Double-down on the action and excitement of these westerns from this new viewpoint. This course aims to convert all students to love westerns.
