What you need to know
How will I study?

You will cover many aspects of hairdressing, creating a variety of looks and effects, whilst understanding the importance of health and safety as well as promoting products and services to clients in the salon. You will also be required to complete relevant GCSE’s & functional skills Maths & English.
How will I be taught?

The delivery of the course will be a combination of demonstrations, practical sessions, class discussions, lecturers and work within the commercial salon.
How will I be assessed?

Competence is assessed by practical observation. Theory will be assessed through a combination of assignments, presentations and examinations.
