Entry Requirements
To enrol on an Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 you must have successfully completed Level 2 Site Joinery or equivalent and be employed within the industry.
Course Duration
1 year.
Skills and Benefits
You will achieve a Level 3 in Site Joinery & Level 3 Diploma in Site Joinery.
Mandatory Units
NVQ Level 3 in Site Joinery units include: Maintaining working conditions and operational activities to meet quality standards. Conform to general workplace safety. Develop and maintain good working relationships. Confirm the occupational method of work. Install first fixing. Install second fixing. Erect structural carcassing components. Erect complex structural carcassing components. Level 3 Diploma in Site Joinery units include: Information, quantities and communication. Carry out safe working practices. Building methods and construction. Set up and use a circular rip saw. Carry out first fixing operations. Carry out second fix operations. Erect structural carcassing. Set up and use fixed and transportable machinery.
Course Assessment
You will complete assignments that will relate theory to practice. You will also collect evidence from the work place and report this in our site diary.
Progression
You could progress to a Higher National Certificate (HNC).
