About this course
Students need to pass BPEC test and a minimum of 4 GCSE's grade E or above in maths, science and english. You will also need to attend an IAG interview.

Who is the course for?
Young people who want to pursue a career in plumbing
What is the course about?
The course will cover the following topics:
Health and Safety
Basic Principles and processes
Cold water systems
Hot water systems
Above ground Drainage and Sanitation
Customer Relations and Environmental Awareness
Will I need anything else?
Pens, pencils, ring binder file
Safety boots and overalls are required for workshop lessons.
All tools will be provided during practical sessions
How long & often do I attend?
The course starts on Monday 7th September 2009 and runs for 36weeks, approximatly 17 hours per week.
How will I be assessed?
Practical assessment and on line testing
What opportunities will this lead to?
City and Guilds 6129 or a Level 2 apprenticeship. You will also be required to attend an entrance exam and skills test for this cousre.
