The course includes:
- Basic health and safety/personal protective equipment
- Tool recognition and correct use
- Basic knowledge of materials used within woodworking
- How to construct basic joints
- How to fit skirting boards and architraves
- How to hang a door
- How to fit a lock
- How to use a router and a lathe
The course is very practical and you will be involved in all tasks from the start. Therefore you must wear steel toe cap boots and we recommend that you wear old clothes. Instant Training will provide all tools and materials needed for each course on offer.
All tutors are approachable time served tradesmen, who have extensive knowledge of all aspects of their trade and teaching.
The four day courses will run from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. over two consecutive weekends at a cost of £380.00 per person.
After successfully taking part in one of the above courses you will receive a certificate from Instant Training outlining what you have achieved.
