Working in the Health Sector Course Have you ever wanted to work within the Health Care Sector? Maybe you have considered a career in Adult Social Care? If you are considering a career in this sector then our Working in the Health Sector QCF (500/6103/3) Level 2 qualification is the ideal distance learning course for you.  As well as for learners who a considering a career in the Health Care Sector, our Working in the Health Sector home study course is ideal for students who may also already be working as health care assistants, doctors or nursing staff.  The qualification will enable you to recognise the importance of effective communication in the workplace. You will also develop a deeper understanding of health and safety and quality standards, identify personal development needs and issues surrounding equality and diversity.  Our Working in the Health Sector QCF Level 2 qualification has been mapped to the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (NHS KSF). It also meets the requirements of the technical certificate for the Health Apprenticeship Framework.  This qualification may facilitate entry into the NHS as this qualification forms the basis of the NHS KSF that all new NHS staff have to complete and all existing staff have to undertake for their personal development.

Unit 4: Service improvement in the health sector

Know how to carry out evaluation of services.
Know how to pass on constructive ideas for improving service provision.

Study Hours

This is only an approximate figure and is dependant upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. Furthermore, at the end of each lesson there is a question paper that needs to be completed and returned to your tutor. You should allow at least 1 - 2 hours of study to complete each question paper.

The approximate amount of time required to complete the course is: 75 hrs.
