AIRPORT ASSESSORS COURSE

• A1 course accredited with Edexcel, producing portfolio to submit for accreditation
• 7 days, comprising of one pre-course planning day with the host airport staff
• 5 days (not necessarily consecutively) with candidates in practical tasks and classroom based lectures
• A1 course uses CAP 699 as the National Standard
• Course Leader graduate Teacher/Lecturer and holds current IFTC Firefighting Certification in addition to M.A in Management of Assessment
• One day follow up - completion of portfolio day with all candidates
• A challenging, but focused course ensuring candidates reach an A1 standard in an intensive time scale
• All practical assessment tasks based on Firefighting duties associated with CAP 699
• Full secretarial support given to assist in portfolio production
