The aim of this course is an in-depth study and analysis of relevant anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and evidence-based practice.

Course programme

The syllabus is designed to address areas of practice such as differentiating between fractures and soft tissues injuries, wounds and wound closure to include different mechanisms to close wounds. The module also includes advanced assessment of peripheral joints, C spine and back pain.
Assessment
Both levels will undertake a 2000 word written assessment and Objective Structured clinical Examination (OSCE); the requirements for these assessments will reflect the level of study being undertaken.
