By the end of the course participants will have an understanding of : Relevant Legislation. Causes of Back Pain. Bio mechanics / Effective Body Movement. Risk Assessment. Controversial moving and handling techniques. By the end of the course participants will have practised using accepted techniques in : Moving inanimate objects. Moving and Handling People. Practical People Moving and Handling. Suitable for: All residential and Nursing homes. All people involved in moving and handling people or inanimate objects whether in nursing, residential homes or in the community.
