Basic Motor Vehicle Maintenance

The course is aimed at those with a keen interest in motor vehicles.
You will gain an insight to the motor vehicle, general servicing, brakes and MOT inspections will be part of the course.
An ideal course for new or learner drivers
Entry RequirementsNo specific prior qualifications are required.
However, an ability to read and interpret written tasks will be required.
Course Content
The award consists of three units:-
·Contribute to workplace and good housekeeping (Health & Safety)·Introduction to Vehicle Technology and workshop methods and processes.·Remove and replace engine units and components.
How will I be assessed?
There will be a short group practical test at the end of the course.
What can I do next?
Progression from this course could lead to a level one recognised motor vehicle course.
