Course Content:
The course is made up of 6 units in total, 2 core units and 4 compulsory. The units are, The Body in Sport; Health, Safety and Injury in Sport; Practical Sport; the Sports Industry; Technical Skills; Nutrition for Sports Performance.

The units are graded P (pass), M (merit) or D (distinction). The personal skills units are designated pass or fail.

Progression:
Successful students can progress to related qualifications at level 2. Others may take another qualification, at level 1 or 2, in an alternative sector. This qualification can also prepare you for employment in the Sport and Leisure industry.
