Students will take part in a number of interesting experiences which may include: four-day residential to Snowdonia, two-day expedition in Pembrokeshire, radio and communication, Royal Marines visit, climbing, caving, kayaking and hill walking, service fitness/ exercise drills, military unarmed combat/physical intervention, conflict management through a series of role plays.

Course programme
The course will prepare you for the mental and physical demands of life in the services. You’ll be taught by professionals with years of service in the uniformed public services (Police, armed reserves and outdoor educational professionals) so you’ll benefit from outstanding expertise and vast knowledge. In addition, the College works in close collaboration with the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services and the Armed Forces.
Students can prepare for a career in one of these areas (or continue their studies at a higher level) drawing from the experiences they have gained throughout the course and will be equipped and prepared for the various selection processes the Uniformed Services adopt.
