About this course
You will learn to work with a variety of casting materials including plaster, resin, jesmonite and wax. You will learn how to use agregates to created special finishes . You will learn to patinate (colour) the resin bronze with hot acids.
The course is good for anybody interested in sculpture casting at whatever level as instruction is both to the group and individually. Special care it made to assess your needs and to offer you a full and inspiring course.
Luke Shepherd has been teaching sculpture for over 30 years. He is a passionate practitioner and very keep to pass on as much info as can be drunk. The course also included patination which is hard to find as many people keep their recipes secret.

Cast your own work in bronze -resin (cold cast bronze).
Work measure max 12" in any direction.
3-days to learn the technical aspects of casting and what yoiu cant learn from books.
This is the follow on course from the Silicon Mould Making course held at the same venue. Max 5 participants for excellent and clear guidance through this technically complex process.
Includes refreshments. Please note that Materials used extra as some people bring larger peices and some smaller. Pay by weight of materials used or bring your own materials.
