Module 2, Chemistry in Action, includes energetics, kinetics, equilibria and analytical techniques. Coursework consists of assessed practical investigations, which are carried out throughout the year. If you are 16-19 years of age, you will also be on a Curriculum 2000 programme doing key Skills Communication, application of Number and IT, plus enrichment sessions.
Assessment for this course is by 2 linear written examinations taken in the summer term and practical coursework assessments throughout the year. You must have been well motivated and your attendance and punctuality must also have been good.
