Course programme

Explore the beauty of Chinese calligraphy by using a Chinese brush to make oriental adornment. This workshop will introduce the basic instruments of Chinese calligraphy: Brush, Ink, Ink stone, Rice Paper. The workshop will include practice of basic strokes, and then each participant will have chance to create their own Chinese character.

The workshop will be given by Edinburgh-based calligrapher Chi Zhang, whose works have been exhibited internationally.
