Course Description
The Level 3 Diploma will give the students the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare surfaces ready to receive finishes. The course will equip the student with the theory and practical skills to enable them to progress to employment.The Level 3 Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification based on standards set by industry to define the competences required for employment. The Level 3 will advance your skills and knowledge to enable you to progress within the industry.

Entry Requirements
GCSE Mathematics (B), English (C), Science (CC). Personal recommendation from teacher however learner must be seen to be on target to progress.

• Carry out safe working practices
• Information, quantities, and communicating with others
• Building methods and construction technology
• Apply paint systems by brush and roller
• Apply hanging to walls and ceilings
• Produce specialist decorative finishes
• Carry out specialist architectural feature work
• Apply paint systems using airless equipment

Assessment: A range of methods will be used, including assignments and continuous practical assessment, with the addition of external testing and portfolio work.
