Candidates are required to attend our purpose built Gas Training and Assessment Centre and undertake all 'off the job' assessments in accordance with the course criteria.

Once you have completed the in house training sessions, you will also be required to complete the 'on the job' evidence from your placement.
When you have collected sufficient 'on the job' evidence, you will be eligible to undertake the initial ACS CCN1 (Core Gas Safety) assessments and any associated appliances.
Once the ACS assessments are successfully completed, you will be able to register with Gas Safe or seek employment with a Gas Safe Registered company as an operative.

About this course
At the end of the course, candidates should be at a level of competence to undertake their Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) Core Domestic Gas Safety assessments and any work related appliances that may be required.
This in-depth training course has been specifically developed for persons who are seeking Gas Safe Registration for the first time.
The training course is designed to run on a part time or full time basis during which time candidates will be taught the practical skills, knowledge and understanding to work safely in the installation, commissioning and servicing of domestic gas appliances and pipe work.
There are no specific entry requirements for this training course.
Please be aware that you will need to find a Gas Safe registered engineer to collect the on site evidence with. (We can help find this in certain circumstances)

Yes, You can still attend the full training programme, and complete all the "In House" assessments. We can help in finding a placement if needed.
The course fees stated are for the Gas Foundation Award. There will be an additional fee required when you undertake the ACS gas assessments. (This will vary depending on which elements you are undertaking)
