Course Content
The programme is offered as an Apprenticeship and involves four days a week training in an engineering environment and one day a week at College. The Apprentice will learn how to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and electrical code specifications, installing, examining, replacing or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits testing electrical and electronic equipment and components. Key Skills will also need to be achieved, as well as developing a portfolio of work.

Progression
Many Apprentices progress to the Advanced Apprenticeship, or may go on to higher level qualifications.
