Course programme
This course is run in partnership with NDFA Training, who is a HSENI Approved Provider (131). This is the new HSENI Approved Emergency First Aid at Work course which has been adapted to suit a particular audience and is an ideal course for lower risk businesses in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982. The course is run over one day or seven hours covering a range of Medical related emergencies. This course is for individuals who wish to gain the knowledge in Emergency procedures and attain a qualification in Emergency First Aid at Work. It should be remembered that the Emergency First Aider should not attempt to give first aid for which they have not been trained.

Certification
There is no learner assessment, although there will be a continuous evaluation throughout the course all students deemed to have reached the required standard will be issued with an HSE (NI) certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work which is valid for 3 years.
Course Information
The HSE (NI) has strongly recommended that those attending this course attend annual refresher training lasting 2-3 hours. This is not compulsory BUT IS RECOMMENDED by the HSENI.
Course Capacity
A maximum of 12 can be accommodated on this course and must be aged 16 and above.
