What will I study?
This course offers a basic entry level introduction to the chosen trade. All work is practical and students assessed in-house. Upon successful completion, students will receive an OCNW Certificate.

How can I progress?
*Students can progress to an NVQ 1 if they are employed in the industry within the relevant trade.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
In order to qualify for this course students; *Require no formal pre-requisite qualifications, *Should have a reasonable level of education, *Must have a desire to work in the open air, *Must agree to abide by any College and School regulations, *Must be succesful at an informal interview.

Course Structure
In order to gain a full Entry Level Certificate in Preparation for Employment these units will be studied; *Basic wood occupations techniques, *Basic tools and equipment, *Basic health and safety.
