Course Aims:
To develop all main linguistic skills.
To enable participants to communicate effectively in their daily lives.

Course Content:
* Develop and apply minimum adequate grammar
* Appreciate basic distinction between formal and informal text and speech
* Introduction to organisation of extended writing
* Perform likening tasks in line to the demands of everyday-life and examination criteria

Progression:
Level one Skills for Life course

Awarding Body:
Trinity

Exam:
By spoken and written examinations.

Qualification:
Trinity qualification at the appropriate level.

Entry 3

None, subject to eligibility

Duration:
3 hours per week for 30 weeks
