In particular, the EMASS can be customised to suit interests in communication strategy, culture and change management, public and social policy leadership, international commerce, non-government organisation, not-for-profit leadership and cultural policy leadership, among other areas.



Furthermore, there are opportunities for industry placements within the current workplace or desired industry of each student.

The Executive Master of Arts and Social Sciences (EMASS) requires the satisfactory completion of 96 credit points, including:

Candidates for the Executive Master of Arts and Social Sciences are required to complete 96 credit points, including:
(a) 36 credit points from Professional Module units of study; and
(b) 12 credit points from Applied Module units of study; and
(c) 48 credit points from Elective Module units of study. With the permission of the degree director a maximum of 12 credit points of Elective units of study can be taken from outside those listed in the Executive Master of Arts and Social Sciences unit of study table, including units offered outside the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Capstone experience

All students must complete Capstone Units PMGT5872 People and Leadership, and then choose between either FASS7003 Group Project OR FASS7004 Industry Internship as their 2nd capstone.
