French 2

French 2 involves Learning enough French to be able to communicate in the following situations: eating in a restaurant, choosing presents/goods in a shop, travelling by public transport, making a hotel booking and enquiries about facilities, asking if something can be done, arranging meetings, inviting someone to do something, talking about yourself and your life, learning the language structure: past tenses and future adjectives, pronouns. You will be able to communicate in French the situations listed. You will be able to talk about past events and future plans. You will be able to read and understand basic written and spoken French. A College Certificate will be awarded on request.students will be taught through repetition, role plays, practice of dialogues and exercises, reading and listening comprehension, activities and games, tape and videos, songs and quizzes. You will be required to keep a file of vocabulary structures and grammar.
