About this course
You need three GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths, Science and English Language, or a satisfactory College assessment. If you are a mature student, experience or training in a motor vehicle discipline may be appropriate.

Introduction
This course is designed to be the fast track for Apprenticeships. It aims to develop your skills and knowledge required for a career in the motor vehicle industry, with an emphasis on work placement and practical experience.

Method of Study
Learning is mostly practical. You are assessed continually, including task-based assignments, projects and tests. Work experience is a requirement of the course for which the College will help you find a placement.
Progression
After successful completion of this course you only need to complete the NVQ in the work place in order to finish your Apprenticeship.
