Overview
If you want to learn how to support and care for people with a wide range of social, emotional and physical support needs, this course introduces you to the basics of social care. Learning how to treat adults and children with dignity and respect, building confidence and improving social skills are all covered on this course. By completing a range of practical assignments, creative activities, observations and practice you will gain essential skills in equality and diversity, ready for working in a health or social care setting.

Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, however a good basic level of English and maths is needed.

One year – Full time.
