Care, Health and Early Learning - Care
Introduction to Care (Barking Lifelong Learning Centre)(2009/2010)
Study Method:
The course workshops are run one-day a week from 9.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. and students are expected to attend the college for these workshops.
Duration :The programme lasts for 12 weeks, one day per week, based at Lifelong Learning Centre, Barking.
Who the Course is For:
The course has been designed to help people considering a career working with adults in the Health & Social Care field of work.
Assessment:
Students will be expected to complete some basic written assignments based upon the 6 units of competence. The tutor will also assess the students commitment and abilities demonstrated during the course and provide a final student written report. They will receive a college certificate on successful completion.
Course Leads To:
The course provides evidence towards the full NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care Award and will also provide useful information in gaining employment within the Health & Social Care field.
