Course programme
The session looks at the difference between Leaders and Managers, and establishes how the skills and behaviours two approaches dovetail together to create and ‘all round’ effective person who runs a team of people, what ever the situation. So, whether the attendee is a manager of a team in the business, running a temporary team i.e. a project team, or looking to progress into a position where looking after a team of people is part of the role, then this course is for them.
Part of the session is based around a well known business model called ‘Situational Leadership’. As it’s only an introduction to leadership – a basic version of the model is used. This is enough to provide the understanding required.
