You will be working with and being taught by a group of engineers with a huge amount of recent industrial experience. We have excellent facilities, industry standard equipment and very good relationships with local and national employers.
Within this programme there will be TyneMet Industry days supported by blue chip companies such as Siemens. For example, it could include a day at the Siemens Energy Service Facility in Heaton where your previous learning can be applied to industry relevant tasks and activities.
Many of our recently qualified students have managed to secure advanced apprenticeships in businesses such as Siemens.
