This course is designed as a progression for those who wish to involve themselves in further training towards becoming a professional counsellor. The course will also offer the opportunity for participants to examine their own personal development and enhance their self-awareness.

* Ongoing tutorials using the personal journal as a base * A portfolio of evidence of learning * Presentations * Skills practise * A project on referral agencies, the law related to counselling of particular interest to the candidate * An externally-set and assessed 1 hour assignment.

Induction will be held on 16 September 1800 - 2100. What do you need to bring? * Pen and Paper * Enthusiasm and commitment to this professional training * An A4 ring binder * A commitment to attend 100% of the course but in extenuating circumstances 80% will be allowed by the Awarding Body * An understanding that attendance on the Saturday workshops is compulsory, dates to be advised.
