Is it right for me?
This course is a must for any tree surgeon who needs to dismantle trees in confined spaces using conventional lowering methods and rigging methods.
What qualifications will I need?
Unit 30 ' Chainsaw maintenance.
Unit 31 ' Fell small trees.
Unit 38 ' Climb trees and perform aerial rescue.
Unit 39 ' Operate chainsaw from rope and harness.
Students must be aged 16 or over on 1st September of the year in which the course starts. Tetanus protection is recommended.

What materials are required?
Chainsaw boots. Writing materials.
PLEASE NOTE: All students must bring a passport size photograph and their national insurance number on the first day of their course.
