None, although applicants will normally need to have lived in the EU for 3 years and be over 19, have a keen interest in the subject and be committed to the chosen Distance Learning course.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
Distance Learning is a scheme that enables students to study a range of courses (normally over one year) at a pace and time to suit their personal commitments and where circumstance make a regular attendance difficult. Students will be allocated a tutor and undertake study in their home environment.

Students work by post or email and when completed assignments are sent to the College, where they will be marked by a tutor and returned within 28 days. This process continues until all the course units are completed and then certification is processed and awarded.

Subjects available through the Online Distance Learning Unit scheme include:

Intermediate Certificate in Dementia Awareness;
Intermediate Certificate in Equality and Diversity;
Intermediate Certificate in Healthy Eating and Exercise;
Intermediate Certificate in Infection Control;
Intermediate Certificate in Nutrition and Health;
Intermediate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety;
Intermediate Certificate in Palative Care; and
Intermediate Certificate in the Safe Handling of Medicines.
