About this course
Five GCSE's at grade C or higher including GCSE English or equivalent. However mature students will be accepted onto the course who can provide evidence of their ability to undertake the course through the accreditation of prior learning.

UNIVERSITY OF ULSTER CERTIFICATE IN COUNSELLING STUDIES
Who is this course for?
This course aims to introduce students to the knowledge and skills which underpin the counselling process. It is designed for both people who are interested in the subject for either personal or professional development, as well as those who are beginning study as part of the process of becoming a professionally accredited counsellor.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment takes the form of coursework, case studies, and a reflective journal. Recorded role play will be used to assess practical skills.
