About this course
Applicants should usually hold a bachelors degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised British/overseas university in any subject or, alternatively, at least two years relevant work experience. Every applicant is assessed individually on their own merit. Higher level professional qualifications may also be accepted. Candidates for whom English is not their first language will normally be required to have taken an English language test and achieved a score of either TOEFL 600 or above, IELTS 6.5 or above, or Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English Grade B or above ...

Course Overview
This Post-Graduate Diploma at master's level in International Tourism and Hospitality Management recognises the importance of tourism and hospitality as the world's largest industry by integrating latest teaching, research findings and industry expertise with core business management skills thereby equipping our graduates for a successful career in international tourism management. Aim of the Course
This programme aims to meet the needs of future professionals in public sector tourism management, e.g. National Tourist Boards, Regional Tourist Boards, public sector visitor attractions, private sector hospitality and tourism management, eg. hotels, visitor attractions and leisure organisations, tourism consultancy, tourism research and lecturing and management within tour and travel organisations. The course will provide you with the theoretical framework and practical skills that tourism and hospitality professionals working in sector need in order to cope with an increasingly complex and global international tourism and hospitality.

* develop a wide range of enterprise skills in the context of contemporary tourism and hospitality such as ebusiness, international developments and impacts.Entry Requirements:
Applicants should usually hold a bachelors degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised British/overseas university in any subject or, alternatively, at least two years relevant work experience. Every applicant is assessed individually on their own merit. Higher level professional qualifications may also be accepted. Candidates for whom English is not their first language will normally be required to have taken an English language test and achieved a score of either TOEFL 600 or above, IELTS 6.5 or above, or Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English Grade B or above. This test must have been taken within two years prior to the start of the programme you are applying for. The business school also assists students whose first language is not English through close cooperation with the colleges English Language department.
Course Structure
This programme consists of six compulsory modules including a research project proposal in preparation for a master's dissertation. The course gives learners an optimal balance of theory and practice with an exposure to management leading-edge practices.
