3 Day Plastering Courses

The first 2 days of the 3 day plastering courses are the same as the 2 day courses. The 3rd day of the plastering courses commence with students cutting & fixing plasterboard to a wall in their bay using plasterboard adhesive ('dot & dab' technique). Once the boards are fixed level & square, students will prepare the joints using skrim tape & cut & fix external skim beed in preparation for a skim coat. Students then have the choice of PVA'ing either the plasterboard wall or ceiling in their bay that they skimmed on day 2 prior to re-skimming it.

Following lunch, the course concludes with the student skimming the 'dot & dab' wall from the morning, inclding the reveal, using a corner trowel.
