Program Purpose / Objectives
The purpose of this CME activity is to review the management of patients with various disabilities and apply the AMA Guidelines for evaluation.
Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
• Review the perspectives of various parties in disability evaluation
• Discuss the foundational concepts of the AMA Guides
• Review the chapters of the Guides and the methods used within those organ systems
• Discuss the overlap of pain and psychiatry in patient evaluation
• Utilize questionnaires in your practice based on the medical literature
• Differentiate between physician and legal colleagues of what constitutes important information
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
