What will you be learning?
The course aims to develop both practical skills and technical knowledge and covers: Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance; removing and replacing engine units and components, electrical auxiliary units and components, chassis units and components and health and safety in the workplace.

You will be assessed by practical and written assessments and on-line tests.

What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto the Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 3 or enter employment as an auto electrician or light vehicle technician.
