Requirements:
Minimum age 17; and
completion of a minimum of two grade C GCSEs or equivalent (contact Qantm to check on International Equivalents to GCSEs); or
mature age students over 21 years (please provide full CV)

With this intensive and progressive course you will learn professional web design & development to a professional standard. You will also become knowledgeable about all emergent technologies and concepts, and proficient in commonly used software applications and cutting-edge techniques.
Students will learn industry-standard design software and will attain a strong foundation in graphic design (including the creative and technical principles of 2D animation) for screen and new media. On completion of the course students will have a thorough knowledge of both static and dynamic website design & development and a detailed insight into more entertaining site principles – for example, those used on interactive Flash websites used to sell films, services or products.
Other topics covered include online storage, future interactive design (looking at the wider impact of new media) and project management. Along the way students will become proficient in many aspects of computer use, from operating systems and development kits to web design packages and cross platform applications such as those used on mobile phones.
