This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical training to enable them to access structures and work at height. Where applicable, the course content follows current Health & Safety legislation, BS 8454: 2006 and the ACWAHT (Advisory Committee for Work at Height Training) syllabus. Suitable for: Occasional climbers may be limited to the type of work they can carry out and must not leave the security of protected platforms. They may be under the supervision of an experienced climber and are generally limited to a maximum height of 12m from ground level provided a 6m platform is also in place.

About this course

A Self-certification Fitness Questionnaire is to be completed on the day. It is important for delegates are free of any medical condition that might adversely affect their performance. Not only might such a condition create a risk to themselves it may also create a hazard for other people. Training may be energetic and mentally taxing for some people.

Delegates are requested to bring suitable clothing and footwear allowing for the current weather conditions. Delegates must be 18 years of age and fluent in English.
