ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This is not a course for absolute IT beginners. Basic IT skills are essential as is a creative mind and an interest in digital media. The course uses the latest CS4 version of Adobe Flash. Applicants may be asked to undertake a short assessment of their literacy and IT skills to ensure suitability for this course.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This level two course is a good introduction to the world of animation and in particular 2D Digital Animation using Adobe Flash CS4. It is an ideal course to take with or after the level two Web Design unit or on its own or for those already designing websites and who would like to add animation and interactivity. The course follows the Adobe Certified Associate Rich Media Communications syllabus.
PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion of this course students can progress on to the level 3 Web Design course or one of the professional courses running later in the year.
