What will I study?
History is a highly valued qualification, involving analysis, synthesis, in-depth research and excellent presentation skills. This course is focused on modern British and European political history and aims to build on the skills and knowledge azquired as GCSE level.

How can I progress?
Students can progress to Higher Education or employment. History is a highly valued qualification at A Level or HE Level for courses involving such skills as analysis, synthesis, in-depth research and excellent presentation skills such as the Law, Journalisim, Accountancy, Generic Management and careers in the Civil Service.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
In order to qualify for this cours students will need; *At least a Grade C in GCSE English Language to commence the AS Course and a Grade E at AS Level to commence the A2 Course

Course Structure
In order to gain a full AS/A2 Level in History these units will be studied; AS: *International Relations 1919-41, *Nazi Germany 1933-45, *Britain 1918-39, A2: *Lenin and the Bolsheviks 1903 1924, *Russian Dictatorships 1855 1956, *Coursework.

As = 1 Year/ A2 = 1 Year
