Course Description:
An exciting range of topics to develop your understanding of British History and your Historical skills.

Description Breakdown:
The course will examine two topics in British History.
Unit 3 covers Elizabethan England. Unit 5 is a coursework-based unit which covers the role of the state towards poor people in Britain in the 19th and early 20th C. The units are delivered through a variety of teaching and learning methods designed to encourage students to form their own judgements. There is one examination in June (Unit 3) and a coursework assignment to be completed by May. Regular assignments and essays are also expected over three terms and are important to measure progress on the course. These will be supported by regular 1:1 subject tutorials.
