A2: In the A2 year, you will also study two units. The other unit is theatre text in context, which is a study of a play text and a historical period of theatrical development.
Special Features: There is an annual trip to London to The Globe Theatre and The Victoria and Albert Theatre Museum.
Course Format: Sessions take place in the studios and classrooms. There is a balance between practical and theory with emphasis on guided individual exploration. We participate in workshops with professional directors, actors and designers.
Confidence building is central to the course and this, together with the communication, interpersonal, organisational and presentational skills developed are highly valued by all employers and universities regardless of specialism.
Assessment will be through written and practical coursework and an externally examined performance.
