Is there an interview?
Yes, an interview is required and you may have to complete an initial assessment to ensure your skills are suitable for the level of the course.

What can I progress to?
AAT Level 3 in accounting or look for work.

What is the course about?
Association of Accounting Technicians Foundation Level. Seven units included with seven skills assessment for each unit and one public exam.
There is a simple principle behind AAT Accounting qualification. It's called real life. The qualification focused on the practical skills and knowledge you'll need to be a successful accounting professional.

Are there any additional requirements?

Materials: Text books, Skills Tests and personal stationery.

Other: You are required to be registered with AAT as a student member and enter for one exam.

What are the course outcomes?
You will achieve a nationally accredited Level 2 qualification.
Level 2 qualification consist of 7 units, upon achieving all 7 of them you will be awarded NVQ 2 in Accounting by AAT.

How will you be assessed?
As you work towards your AAT Accounting qualification, you'll be assessed on the practical skills you develop during the course. This will be done in two ways.

Exams; These are set and marked by the AAT and will test your ability to apply what you have learned to true-to-life examples. Exams are held in December and June.

Skills Tests; These course assessments check your progress regularly.

Is there an Examination Fee?
Yes £36 at Level 2 for AAT.
