The main objective of this course is to make people competent in the safe use of abrasive wheels. By the end of the course, all delagtes will be aware of the hazards and risks, legislation pertaining to the use of abrasive wheels. They will also be deemed competent in the changing of an abrasive wheel. Suitable for: This course is designed for any person who may be using an abrasive wheel as part of their working day. This includes angle grinders, cut-off saws, and bench grinders.

This course is designed to help the individual understand their responsibilities within the workplace and is aimed at persons working with Abrasive Wheels.
It is a legal requirement under The Provision and use of Work Equipment 1998 (PUWER) that all staff who use abrasive wheels receive abrasive wheels training in the safe use of the tools and changing of wheels.
The aim of the course is to provide training to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER).
