Abrasive Wheels Safety Training

The course is designed to provide basic knowledge and understanding for the safe handling, mounting, setting and storage of abrasive wheels on a variety of portable and mounted grinding type equipment. This is a general appreciation course, and leads to College certification. The course can be delivered both on and off site as required, to a maximum of sixteen candidates during a day session. Candidates will learn the correct procedures for: - Setting and mounting of grinding - Dressing of wheels - Safe handling of wheels - Correct storage of Abrasive Wheels - Managing the hazards associated with Abrasive WheelsThe course can be delivered both on and off site as required, to a maximum of sixteen candidates during a day session. All Abrasive Wheel courses are tailored to suit candidate or employer expectations and requirements using a range of theoretical and demonstrative techniques, including demonstrations on machinery and hand tools.
