The hazards associated with using abrasive wheels, the potential accidents and injuries. The correct methodology for mounting abrasive wheels and dressing abrasive wheels in a safe manner. Suitable for: Anyone working in construction trades, workshops, engineering, maintenance or manufacturing coming into contact with or using abrasive wheels, bench grinders, hand held saws and grinders in their dail work routine.

Abrasive Wheels can be bench mounted or fitted to hand held tools such as angle grinders and power saws. They are predominantly used in workshops and on construction sites. This half day course focuses on the legislation that governs the use of Abrasive Wheels, the Hazards and injuries associated with using Abrasive Wheels, correct methods for mounting and dressing an abrasive wheel combining and covering the elements detailed to be included in such a course by the HSE.
