Applicants to our full time GCSE course will have already achieved four grade D’s at GCSE,( including English Language), and be motivated and want to have a new challenge. A genuine interest in the subject choices and a reason for taking this course is a key requirement to enrolling on the GCSE programme.
This is important as the course requires a high level of self-motivation to complete homework and prepare for the examinations. 100% attendance is also very important to maximise your chances of achieving the GCSE’s at the end of the course.
This access to further education course is for 16-18 year olds who want to study in an adult environment, in smaller class sizes with specialist teachers to improve their English and/or maths GCSE grades, and who want to study new GCSE subjects to allow them to progress to a range of further education courses including A Levels, BTec courses or apprenticeships.
